General Instructions for changing your POP3 and SMTP servers

The Incoming POP3 server id needs to change from
mail.ih2000.net to pop3.ih2000.net or mail.tex-is.net to pop3.tex-is.net
The IP address of the old mail server is 209.34.96.3
The IP address of the new mail server is 12.185.246.132
If you use RoadRunner or AT&T/Yahoo DSL, your SMTP (outgoing) server should be set to mail server name that they gave you.
If you currently have mail.ih2000.net, mail.tex-is.net or the IP address 209.34.96.3 in your SMTP settings, then you should change that to smtp.ih2000.net or smtp.tex-is.net (or 12.185.246.132). The only other requirement is that you must authenticate your account before you are allowed to send mail to external users. This authentication is the same as your POP3 account settings (email account name and password.)

If you are unable to connect after these changes, please contact us by email (admin@PlantItWeb.com) or by phone 409-842-0677x107, (leaving a message, if neccessary) and we will research your problem and provide you with an answer.
